Today’s baking whim was KAF’s Triple Berry Cinnamon Swirl Bread, but with finely diced apples instead of berries. They used a decent amount of cinnamon for a change, so no further anarchy was necessary. Very soft and fluffy inside, rather like the doughnut dough I use to make cinnamon rolls. Not super sweet (which I’m appreciating more these days), but if you wanted it to scream “DESSERT!”, you could hit it with some icing or toast a slice and top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
This one’s going in the keeper collection.
